The Nagaland Law Students Federation’s (NLSF’s) eight Biennial General Conference concluded at Hotel Acacia on November 21.
A press release by the outgoing NLSF president, Imliben Lemtur stated that, during the final session, advisor of Justice & Law, Treasuries & Accounts, and Border Affairs, Dr. Longrineken, in his address as special guest at the valedictory function, stressed on the importance of law studies and various aspects of legal education.
He assured the NLSF that the government would look into the grievances of law students in the state.
The other highlights of the program were; exhortation by principal, Kohima Law College, Visevonuo Peinyu; song by City Law College, Dimapur; speeches by the outgoing president Imliben Lemtur and president elect for the term 2018 to 20, Talimoa Chishi; speech by NLSF general secretary, Medochutuo Kiewhuo and benediction by Nukshikala Longkumer.
