Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) inducted newly elected members at Red Cross Conference Hall Kohima, with handing and taking of file exchanged between outgoing president, Tohuka Achumi and incoming president Neivisielie Rino. In a press release, Neivisielie Rino, pledged to uphold the constitution and bye-laws of the federation and committed to lead the federation with integrity, wisdom and fairness, ensuring that his actions are guided by the principles of justice, equality and fairness. He also called upon everyone to action, and urged all members to join him in this endeavor, leveraging collective strengths and expertise to achieve goals in order to make a meaningful impact in the community and contribute to the development of a more just and equitable society.
Tohuka Achumi, in his speech mentioned some of his past experiences during his tenure, and further encouraged newly elected executives to maintain spirit of teamwork and brotherhood. The newly elected members would be led by Neivisielie Rino, as the president, Temsumongba as the general secretary and Itsato V Achui as the finance secretary. A committee would be set up led by the newly elected general secretary, consisting of three members, for induction of vacant posts, speaker, education secretary and social and cultural secretary.
