Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has lauded the sincere works of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Administrator Atokhe H Aye in executing the most urgent developmental activities of Murgipatti Road repairing and cleaning of main drainage of Dimapur at Nyamo Lotha Road, which was desperately needed by entire Dimapur town and it commuters.
The association was amazed to learn that all the developmental activities are being executed by Aye from revenue collected out of DMC toll tax for the month of January. NMDA said it was first of its kind in the history of DMC that such praise worthy act of city infrastructure development was taken up out of the revenue collection. The association hoped the trend would continue in future in the interest of the public.
NMDA, while congratulating Aye and team of DMC, also suggested the administrator to conduct a thorough enquiry on the probable illegal encroachments of the main drainage of Dimapur which cause water logging during rainy season in the market area of Nyamo Lotha Road, New Market and GS road which causes hardship and monetary loss to business community of the entire area.
The association also urged all the concerned citizen of Dimapur to extend cooperation to DMC in their endeavour for the development and maintain the works executed in the interest of the public.
