Chakhesang Regional Council (CRC), NNC observed the 67th Martyrs Day at Phek on October 18. A press release by CRC, NNC president Nuveta Nakro stated that, in the solemn function, the NNC workers of Chakhesang region paid homage to all the Naga martyrs whose mortal remains have been scattered within and outside Nagaland and waiting to be brought home.
CRC, NNC also appreciated and supported the statement of ‘Gen.’ (Retd.) T.M Keyho, president, NNC on July 21, 2018. He had clearly clarified the stand of the NNC that it uphold the August 14, 1947 declaration of Independence and the May 16, 1951 plebiscite and would continues to work for the complete freedom.
CRC, NNC is also committed to support and work under his leadership for the sovereignty of Nagaland and will never be a party to any solution talks except sovereignty and freedom, the release added.
