Tatar hoho of NNC/FGN on June 18, after an emergency meeting at Dimapur, unanimously elected ‘Chaplee Kilonser’, Akavi Chishi, son of late Hekhuvi Chishi, of Suhoi village, as the next kedahge to lead the government. A press release by secretary, NNC/FGN, Akheho Achumi, informed that the appointment came amidst the impeachment of general (Retd) TM Rhokho from its presidency. The new FGN kedahge acknowledged the members and vowed to carry forward the national struggle.
