NNC/FGN has expressed grief on the demise of ‘Lt. Gen. (Retd)’ Jackson Pfithu, ‘Dy Kilonser’, who hailed from Reguri Village of Pochury Region, son of Ino Kochu Pfithu.
In a condolence note, MIP of NNC/FGN said that late Jackson joined the Naga National struggle in 1988 and served the Nation till his demise on March 30, 2025.
Though his time with the NNC/FGN was short, he was a seasoned leader and served in different capacities under various Naga National political umbrellas, MIP said. MIP further said “his love, dedication, and contribution to the Naga cause have left an indelible mark in the history of Naga Nationalism.”
Meanwhile, MIP extended condolences to his wife, family and friends and prayed for the departed soul rest in peace.
NSCN/GPRN –R: NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) has mourned the demie of Aaron Zhimo, Tatar and PA to Ato Kilonser NSCN/GPRN, resident of Thahekhu Village, who passed away at Dimapur Civil Hospital, on March 30, 2025. MIP said that NSCN acknowledged the service rendered to the Nation by the late comrade and invoked God’s grace to rest his soul in eternal peace.
