Congratulating state chief minister, TR Zeliang for his “remarkable victory” in the floor test of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the NNC (N/A) Ao Region Friday said it believed that under Zeliang’s leadership the new government would solve the problems faced by the people.
In a press release, NNC (N/A) Ao region kiloners-cum-NGO’s, T Toshi Imchen appealed to the new government to take immediate steps to foster Nagaland’s economic recovery.
“We expressed hope that the new government would further strengthen and deepen the Naga people to eradicate corruption from our society”, the statement said. Reminding the state government of its earlier memorandum dated 5th January 2015, “NNA (N/A) appeal to the Nagaland government”, the NNC has reiterated the same and urged the state government to maintain transparency and fair governance.
