Naga National Council Non Accordist (NNC NA) under the leadership of Kiumukam Yimchunger has claimed that it still command the support of majority from different regions and berated at the rival group led by Temjenyanger and Hozheto for spreading ‘havoc’ about the Naga political issue and Naga national cause.
NNC (NA) has stated this in response to news report in which the rival group had directed Kiumukum to step down from the post of president alleging that he had been reduced to absolute minority. The NNC (N/A) through its MIP said Kiumukam Yimchunger and his group had systematically and precisely condemned the Shillong Accord and proclaimed to the world as recorded while it scoffed at the leadership of Temjenyanger and Hozheto stating they were still puzzled with the word ‘Non-Accordist’ and ‘Accordist.’
It has challenged the Temjenyanger and Hozheto group to produce documentary proof to claim themselves as NNC (Non-Accordist) when and where their leaders have condemned Shillong Accord. The statement stated that it is illegal to call themselves ‘N/A’.
It questioned the rival MIP as to how many regions are supporting Temjenyanger and Hozheto leadership. It further reminded how many times Yansari Tatar would be welcomed into their group.
Meanwhile, NNC (N/A) Kiumukam group has informed all the Head of Departments and business establishments especially in Kohima and Dimapur not to make any transaction in the name of NNC (N/A) without the authorisation from the ministry of kilo Affairs. NNC (NA) has issued the statement having learned that some bogus persons were issuing information slip in the name NNC (N/A).
It has appealed to all concerned to make proper identification before making any transaction failing which it said the NNC(N/A) would not be held responsible for the same. All concerned are asked to contact phone No. 08131077372 for necessary information.
