Naga National Council (NNC) Parent Body, Zeliangrong Region (AMN) has sought public support and co-operation for the Indo-Naga Peace Talk with the Government of India led by the six NNPGs W/C and NSCN (I-M).
NNC PB ZLR-R (AMN) MIP Cell appreciated the efforts of the Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) and Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) for tirelessly working for unity and peace among the Nagas. The statement also welcomed the NSCN (K), led by Khango & Isak Sumi, for joining in the mainstream at the right time. The AMN further urged all Nagas to pray for Naga leaders and top Indian leaders for God’s wisdom in solving the Naga political issue at the earliest with the hope that the New Year 2019 would be the year of glory for Nagas. The AMN called for peaceful co-existence, mutual understanding, non-violence, “stop the bloodshed in the Naga family particularly NSCN-IM & ZUF for peaceful living in the civilized world.”
The AMN also dedicated a Bible passage of renewal and hope to the Nagas for the coming year 2019: “Remember no the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19). It also wished all a happy new year.
