Naga National Council (NNC parent body) under the leadership of Yilow Humtsoe, Zhiongba Yimchumgrü and V. Nagi has appealed to all the Naga people, particularly the national workers of all groups to celebrate the 75th year of Naga Independence declaration on August 14 on the main theme, “Naga national unity”.
In a press release, information & publicity wing, NNC (PB) said there was no way to achieve “our” freedom with one political solution as desired by the people without Naga national unity.
Therefore, it urged all to come together to work out the urgent need of the hour for the best interest and as desired by the people.
NNC also directed all the regional councils, sub- regional councils, women federation etc., to celebrate the day on the theme in their respective regions in prayer and petition to the living God.
