NNC PB cautions against illegal tax collection

DIMAPUR: Naga National Council (NNC) PB (Z. Royim) has cautioned the general public and business community in Niuland, Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts not to entertain any individual or group demanding shop tax, donations or contributions in the name of the organisation.
In a statement, Z. Royim, president NNC PB, warned that strict action would be taken against any individual, national worker or others found collecting tax without proper authorisation from the deputy finance kilonser. The organisation further stated that anyone indulging in such activities would be doing so at their own risk.
