NNC (PB) welcomes foreign dignitaries, tourists

Naga National Council (Parent Body) information and publicity wing extended festive greetings and welcomed all foreign dignitaries and delegates including foreign tourists “into the homeland of the Naga people in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

NNC (PB) said that the organisation, being the institution of the whole Naga people and on behalf of all Nagas, express joy and happiness to all who have come to grace the festivals of the Nagas at this season of Christmas.

“May our living God bless you all and may it be a meaningful and memorable stay in our homeland Nagaland,” it said.

It further urged all “to remember the political plight of the Naga people for the last more than 70 long years of oppression and suppression of Naga political rights by the Government of India and the Military junta of Myanmar and their forceful occupation and division of the Naga homeland.”

Therefore, NNC (PB) appealed to all peace-loving nations and people to speak out for the Nagas and their political plight for peace and development in the region.
