Naga National Council – Parent Body (NNC-PB) Yimchunger region affirmed full support and endorsed the leadership of NNC-PB president Z Royim Yimchunger, saying under his presidentship, the group has been officially recognised by the government of India under the umbrella of seven NNPGs Working Committee.
In a press release, the Yimchunger region also affirmed support for the “ongoing Naga peace talk” with the Government of India’s interlocutor for Naga peace talk RN Ravi. The region maintained that the Naga political talk was in the right direction and in the final stage.
The Region also pledged to work cohesively with NNC-PB under the leadership of Royim Yimchunger and NNPGs Working Committee Convener N Kitovi Zhimomi.
It has appealed to the Nagas “not to be misled and confused of NNC-PB which is creating confusion by some self-style vested drummed-out leaders from the organisation.”
Meanwhile, Yimchunger region has congratulated the NDA-II government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi “for coming back to power with absolute majority at the centre.”
