Ao Senden has called upon all the Aos to refrain from celebrating Moatsü–premiere festival of the community, in view of the COVID-19 situation. In a press release, the Senden stated that such celebrations involving large gathering would lead to flouting of social distancing guidelines framed to fight pandemic. Ao Senden has rather urged the community members to observe the festival with a prayer in their respective homes asking for blessings from the Almighty.
