No net, silence, safe offline

One morning the country wakes up and finds there is no—net. mobile in hand, but the voice is missing. No warning, no deadline. Just an official sentence—facts This decision is not sudden, necessary The public understands—when also called a 1st time, then something is quietly taken away.
The pocket in the note was empty, now the mind. Then people lined up, now in silence. The only difference is that the discomfort was visible then, now it’s being called peace.
The bank app is closed, the UPI has stopped, tickets have been cancelled and work is stuck. The government assures—Ghabaraie no, offline options exist. The same offline options, which were gradually eliminated in the name of “Digital India” over the past decade. Now those same choices are being touted as the saviors of the nation.
TV studios are running at full capacity. Anchor proudly tells—netbandi is in the country. The debate continues with the help of high-speed networks and satellite. Panelists explain—The Internet had spoiled the youth, made them a habit of asking questions. Now the country is returning to the right direction—Khamoshi’s side.
Government orders come—Online services temporarily postponed. But applications will only be accepted online. There’s a website for the complaint, there’s a helpline—that will work when the net comes. The administration is satisfied—the system is completely up, just the public disconnect.
Business is going well. Startups have stalled. The stock market is breathing with speculation and statements. The government says—country runs on feelings, not data. Investors ask —where is the stability? The answer is—stability is in power.
The education system has also improved. Online class closed, digital library closed. The children have been given books—such books, with fewer questions and answers already decided. The government is pleased—Now there will be no need to think.
Democracy is also feeling lighter. No trends, no tweets, no viral videos. The official statement comes—There is complete peace in the country. Peace means clean—No one is watching, so there’s nothing happening.
Accomplishments are counted. Rumors from Net Bandi stopped, protest stopped, criticism stopped. There was no need for a digital arrest because there were no digital citizens left. It’s not a technical decision, it’s a civic training program. Gradually the public gets used to it.
The safest citizen in democracy is the same— offline.
