
No new COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Tuesday, while the total caseload remained at 12192.
As on February 23, the State recorded 12 active cases. Meanwhile, State Health department has informed that 29,759 doses of Covishield Vaccine have been administered across the state till date.
According to state immunization officer (UIP) Dr. Ritu Thurr, 43% of the registered healthcare workers and 30% of frontline workers have been vaccinated with the first dose. In addition, 4,819 healthcare workers have completed the full two doses, Dr. Thurr said, adding that no adverse events needing medical intervention has been reported from any of the districts.
Further, Dr. Thurr informed that mop up sessions for health care workers would end on February 25, 2021 and all registered healthcare workers should get vaccinated in the next two days.
