NOHP organises dental health camp at Asukhomi village

National Oral Health Programme (NOHP) organised a dental health camp at Asukhomi village under Zunheboto district on July 14.
In a press release, district media officer, Keneikhrietuo informed that the camp was led by Dr. Esther Chophy Ngullie, Dr. Mughalu Achumi, Dr. Loni Chishi, ophthalmic assistant Imkongyanger and nurses Menuovonuo Suokhrie and Yizano Odyuo from district hospital (DH) Zunheboto.
CHC Aghunato (dental), Dr. Achem Sangtam and nurse Likivi SC Asukhomi village also assisted the team.
At the health camp, National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) psychologist, Alibo Swu sensitised the public on “harmful effects of tobacco” and distributed Nicotex to tobacco users after counselling.
Later, medicines were distributed to the beneficiaries and random blood sugar tests were also performed.
