A seminar on the importance of Oral Health and ill effects of Tobacco cum Dental Health Camp was held at Nagaland Police Training School Chumoukedima organised by National Oral Health Programme Dimapur (NOHPD) on February 22.
The camp was conducted for all rank and files of Nagaland Police Training School Chumoukedima by the National Oral Health Programme (NOHP) and National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) Dimapur
Principal of Nagaland Police Training School in her welcome speech extended gratitude to the programme officer and team for conducting such an important seminar and camp, and requested all the personnel and family members to avail the services.
District Nodal Officer NOHP & NTCP DR.N.Moa Jamir, presented Power Point Presentation on the topic, “the importance of oral health and ill effects of Tobacco consumption”.
Oral Cancer screening, consultation and tooth extraction was also carried out at the camp. Free medicine was provided to the patients.
Dr.Japheth Yepthomi, Dr.Imtiyala, Dr.Kanovi Yephomi from District Hospital Dimapur and Medongunuo, Social Worker NTCP took part in the camp.
