Noke Wangnao, advisor for Social Welfare, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Nagaland with the department officials called on union minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at Pt. Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on October 4.
A press release from PRO (IPR) Nagaland House, New Delhi, Kuolie Mere stated that, during the meeting the advisor shared about the Minority Development activities taking place in the state so far.
He also requested the union minister to extend more development for Minority Welfare in the state. In response to the advisor’s request the minister said that there were some schemes where the state could apply for it, also under the economic empowerment state can avail the benefit of soft loans for development in the state.
