
Husband builds park as token of love and dedication for his wife
Nokpangla Park was inaugurated and dedicated on December 28 at Obang Ozukum Complex, Aoyimkum village, Dimapur. The park is built as a sign of love and dedication by Obang Ozukum for his wife, Nokpangla.
In the dedication program, Obang shared the story on how the park came into existence.
He stated that he wanted to create a place where people could come together and spend some time together away from the busy world. He also said that the park includes a museum and a prayer house.
Dr. Ngangshi K. Ao, MLA, also spoke on the occasion and shared his views about the park.
He expressed hope that in the future, the park could be a place which could provide a platform for everyone to grow spiritually.
Pastor, ABC, Rev. I. Temsu Aier, spoke from the Word of God, where he stressed on two characters from the Bible, Solomon and Abigail, and urged the gathering to live a life like them.
A short poem was read by Putubenla, and Rev. Zulu Longchar offered the invocation. The park’s inaugural plaque was unveiled by Rev. Dr. Noklu Longkumer.
The program was chaired by associate pastor, CEM, Ajungla Imsong and a song was presented by Imsongdi and friends. Chairman, AVC, L. Nukshi Ozukum, also spoke on the occasion, and vote of thanks was delivered by Imsu Ozukum.
