North East needs more social entrepreneurs

Addressing the farewell programme of the second batch of 43 social work professionals from NEISSR, Unity College, Dimapur principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar Chhabra, as chief guest said that there was need for more social entrepreneurs to transform society. 
He stressed on the value based social work professionals who needed to be committed, sincere and work hard in order to wipe out all forms of injustices and corruptions from society.   Dr. Sanjay Kumar Chhabra exhorted the outgoing social work professionals about the urgent need of intervention and to resolve people’s problems with their learning. 
NEISSR, principal Fr. Dr.C.P. Anto Principal, said that the society needed more social doctors to heal the wounds of society and find out the root causes of the various problems and the reasons. 
NEISSR has trained 43 social doctors who were skilled and empowered to help the individuals, groups and communities, he added. The programme highlighted chorus, discourse, musical piece, sharing of learning experiences. Benediction was pronounced by administrator Rev.Fr. John Poji.
