Nagaland would be hosting the North East NSS Youth Festival 2016 from March 1 to 5 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The festival will be marked by cultural dance, cultural song, Yoga session, seminar on youth & creativity, environment, enterprise and disaster management, literary competition, quiz competition and sightseeing.
As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness drive would also be undertaken at IG Stadium and Naga Heritage Village Kisama.
All seven north eastern states including Sikkim would be particitping in the festival. Chief secretary, Pankaj Kumar will grace the inaugural function on March 2, 10 am as chief guest, and commissioner and secretary youth resources and sports, NEPED, Menukhol John as chief guest of the valedictory function on March 4 at 3:30 pm.
