Northern Angami Sports Association (NASA) will be holding its 65th wrestling meet 2024, on Wednesday at Kohima Village Ground, Ziekezou, Kohima. Special guest during the event will be special assistant to CM, Vibeilietuo Kets while president NAPO, Keduo-o Zumu will be the guest of honour. NASA comprises of 29 villages which will be divided into four groups during the meet. 15 wrestlers from each group numbering a total of 60 wrestlers will vie for the title. Starting from this edition, a running NASA wrestling champion belt donated by Kezhalelie Keretsü, will be up for grabs. Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü from Kohima Village (Group-A) is the defending champion. Cash prizes for the winners are: 1st Position – Rs. 1,00,000/-; 2nd Position – Rs. 80,000/-; 3rd Position – Rs. 60,000/-; 4th Position – Rs. 40,000/-; Quarter finalist – Rs. 5,000/- each; Per point – Rs. 100 each.
The present NASA team (2022-24) is led by Neisavotuo Whuorie.
