NPBCA triennial convention and general annual council

Three-day Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) 6th triennial convention and 27th general annual council programme morning devotional service was held at NPBCA mission, Sunday.
The event which commenced on January 8 is being hosted by PBC 11th NAP (IR) Cmd. under the theme “Abundant life” John 10:10.
During the devotional service, message on the topic “abundant life through the word of God” was delivered by PBCA, executive secretary Y. Nuklu Phom.
Deliberating on the importance of Bible in Christian’s life, Phom lamented that at the present time churches were giving less importance to the world of God saying it should be revived since Bible alone can give abundant life.
He also opined that the word of God speaks to the mind and if one’s mind accepts the word of God, the word of God would teach, rebuke, correct and make a person righteous.
Phom also encouraged the congregation to equip oneself for every good work saying “if one speaks the word of God, one should speak the truth”.
Earlier the service was chaired by NPBCA, youth secretary Asselie Krose, praise and worship was led by PBC Dimapur, in-charge youth director and benediction by PBC, Phek Veruyoi Khesoh.
The devotional programme was followed business session and talent hunt.
