Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has said the Congress party was totally committed to an early and lasting solution to the Naga political issue, a solution which was honourable, beneficial and acceptable to all sections of Naga people.
NPCC in a press release issued by vice president Capt. Hekiye Sema also said the congress would always stand for peace and social harmony.
Expressing concern on the growing number of educated unemployed youths in the State, NPCC said the interests of the youths would be at the core of the party’s agenda.
Terming the youth force as the country’s “most precious and productive asset,” NPCC said the Congress would strive to work towards fulfilling the aspirations of the youths in the field of education, employment and entrepreneurship. The party also said it would explore avenues to provide job opportunities to the youths in the State.
“The Congress party had and will always stand for all round development and upliftment of people living in rural areas, the common man and woman towards their economic prosperity and higher living standard, and also empowerment of women will remain our top priority,” NPCC added.
