NPCC congratulates Supongmeren Jamir

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has congratulated its president, S. Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament, for being nominated as a member of the India–Chile Parliamentary Friendship Group constituted for the 18th Lok Sabha.
Accordint ot a press release, the nomination was made by the speaker of the Lok Sabha to strengthen parliamentary diplomacy and foster closer bilateral relations between India and Chile. The India–Chile Parliamentary Friendship Group seeks to promote cooperation, dialogue, and mutual understanding between parliamentarians of the two nations on areas of shared interest, including trade, culture, development, and global collaboration.
The NPCC noted that the nomination reflects the trust and confidence placed in Jamir and his ongoing commitment to representing the voices and aspirations of the people of Nagaland at both national and international levels.
His inclusion in the parliamentary friendship group is being seen as a matter of pride for the people of Nagaland and the North East, further enhancing the region’s representation in international parliamentary engagements.
