NPCC office bearers held a meeting at Congress Bhavan, Kohima and decided to constitute PCC Election Committee for bye-elections to 10 Northern Angami-I Assembly Constituency on June 1.
A press note by NPCC media cell stated that committee constituted of convenor Ayang Aonok along with four other members.
It also informed that informed that in view of the forthcoming assembly elections, the Central Election Authority (CEA) of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on May 30 had postponed Organizational Elections in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Gujurat, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
