NPCC hold meeting with party frontals at Mkg

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Officials visited and held a meeting with the Mokokchung district INC party frontals, Tuesday, at the Gorkha Community Hall, as part of the party recruitment drive and organizational re-structure.
Speaking at the meeting, ex-parliamentary secretary Dako Phom, expressed happiness over the large attendance of the party veterans and the seniors and said that Mokokchung is the backbone of the Congress party in the state.
He encouraged the party workers of Mokokchung to work hard and to be role model for other party workers in the state.
General Secretary I/C of Longleng, Dokiu said, Mokokchung has always been the Congress bastion and that the party was only disseminated in the district due to the muscle power and dubious policies. He then urged the Mokokchung party workers to revive the wave.
General Secretary I/C of Mokokchung Jonathan while lauding the determination and dedication of the party workers encouraged the leaders to bear greater responsibilities. At the same time, Jonathan cautioned that it was not the time to live in the past glories but to go down to the grassroot level, again.
While delivering the welcome note, DCC president S Tia Longkumer, declared that Mokokchung District have 8691 Active INC Members.
The meeting was attended by the party frontals of DCC, Mahila, DYC, NSUI, Shiva Dal, Kishan Cell and the presidents of the 10 assembly constituencies. The meeting was chaired by Atenjenba, DCC vice-president and the invocation was said by Reverend A Nungshi.
