NPCC, NMA, SJU extend Christmas greetings

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) and St. Joseph University (SJU) Dimapur have extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the Nagas.

NPCC: NPCC in a greetings message by president K. Therie said that there was a cloud of dismay in the hearts of the people and it was overshadowing Christmas and New Year because of the unfulfilled political solution and the pandemic. Therie wished that Nagas celebrate Christmas in peace by first being free from “the bondage of being a briber and a bribee, for our shortcomings in controlling the instinct of ‘I want more’ leads to corruption of various designs.”  Pointing out that “we never know when the pandemic will recede or perhaps we may have to live with it”, he expressed that God has promised to do everything good, in His own time. He further prayed that His grace be upon all as birth of the saviour is celebrated and conveyed a Blessed Christmas and a prosperous Happy New Year greetings.

NMA: Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) in a greetings message stated that this joyous celebration was a time to recall the manifestation of God into flesh and to unite “our hearts and be prepared to see the wonders of His birth in us and in our land.” NMA wished that “the joy and happiness fills us with a renewed heart and brings hope to the dampen spirits.” NMA also appealed all to restrain from any rash and drunken driving, violence and abstain from disturbing the joyful atmosphere and to let this Christmas message of “love and peace” be spread in its fullest form. NMA further extended humble prayer that the New Year 2021 will usher peace and prosperity to all.

SJU: St. Joseph University (SJU) Dimapur in a greetings message has wished that the Christmas season fill your home with joy, love and laughter and that the New Year 2021 bring peace, tranquillity and contentment.
