NPCC reiterates demand for release of stipend to ITI trainees

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Public Grievances Department (PGD) has reiterated the demand for expediting the direct benefit transfer (DBT) process for disbursement of stipend to trainees of industrial training institute (ITI) under eight districts.

In a press release, PGD co-chairman Er. Meshenlo Kath and secretary Dilo Koza also responded to the clarification provided by directorate of employment, skill development and entrepreneurship dated September 11, 2023 for delay of stipend under eight districts ITI for the academic session of 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.

PGD stated that if memorandum of understanding (MoU) had been signed between the department and NIC for DBT, it was the sole responsibility of the department/authority to do the follow up and complete the work by earliest possible means.

Therefore, PGD has requested the responsible authorities and other third parties with whom MoU was signed for DBT to expedite the process and let the trainees be awarded what they deserved without further delay.
