Training its guns towards BJP and RSS, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has warned citizens that though the state BJP had resolved to safeguard Christian faith, it was not enough, saying “we cannot underestimate RSS the guardian of BJP for no war is greater than an ideological war.”
In a press note, NPCC president K. Therie said that the state BJP for the first time was coming to some sense hearing the cry of the people. However, he said “just a resolution is not enough.”
Therie said it all began in 1925 when RSS was formed with the objective to have a Hindu nation with racial purity rule as their philosophy. Now, the Sangh has six million volunteers deeply trained and 6,000 schools educating RSS ideology, he added.
Pointing out that all BJP workers were hardcore RSS, he said no BJP general secretary was married so that they could devote full time. With RSS having long term programmes and plan, he alleged that the RSS think-tank was one of the longest serving think-tanks planning against the principles of secularism.
He also accused RSS of having drugged Dalits with religious sentiments, and made people believe cow as God and employed them as vigilantes. To this, he said cow has become dearer than human life.
“The world is aware of their anti-Christian activities. World leaders have even cautioned the BJP government,” Therie said. However, to demean and forget Christian holy days like Christmas Day, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, he said the BJP government had declared them as official functioning days.
“Hindi and Sanskrit is compulsory in schools. There is a proposal to read the Bhagwat Gita as the National Book. These programs and changes are long term programmes in just three years of BJP,” he added.
Therie further warned citizens saying the near and real danger of losing our identity would be when BJP gets majority in the Rajya Sabha. They would force the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) where Special Provisions under Art. 370 and 371(A), (B), (C), etc., would become dormant, he said.
“UCC means to RSS a Hindu Nation, Hindu religion, one personal law and one tax. If there is any truth in the minds of the State BJP to safeguard the Christian faith and identity of Nagas, join secular front to fight the nuisance designs of RSS and BJP,” he stated.
