The Naga People’s Front (NPF) 6th Tening Assembly Constituency held consultative meetings on April 17 at Tening Town and April 21 at Ahthibung Town with MLA Namri Nchang, drawing participation from party leaders and members across villages.
During the gatherings, party members pledged their continued and unwavering support to Nchang, extending their commitment even towards the forthcoming 2028 elections.
Addressing the meetings, Nchang expressed gratitude to the leaders and members for their steadfast backing. He also conveyed appreciation to chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for his leadership in “reaching the unreached,” while highlighting key developmental initiatives undertaken in the constituency, including improvements in road connectivity, healthcare facilities and the education sector.
Nchang assured that several developmental activities were in the pipeline and urged the people to continue extending their support to his leadership and to the visionary guidance of the chief minister. He emphasized that collective commitment and cooperation would ensure sustained progress for the constituency.
He also applauded Johny Rongmei, OSD Disaster Management, for responding to public concerns by initiating various developmental activities, which he described as a long-felt need of the people of 6th Tening Assembly Constituency.
The meetings concluded with reaffirmations of unity and dedication from party members, underscoring their confidence in Nchang’s leadership and the developmental vision of the NPF. Leaders from different villages and party functionaries of 6th Tening A/C and Peren division also delivered short speeches, applauding the MLA’s efforts and expressing unity in advancing the party’s vision.
The programmes were chaired by Aku Nhai, president of 6th A/C at Tening, and Letgin Singson, vice president NPF Peren division, at Ahthibung.
