NPF executive meeting held at Medziphema

The first parent body, executive meeting of the Naga People’s Front 5 Ghaspani 2 Assembly Constituency, following the merger of NPF and NDPP was held on March 6, 2026 at NPF Office, Ward-5 Medziphema Town.
The meeting was chaired by Thepfüselie Makritsu, president NPF 5 Ghaspani 2 AC and saw the attendance of senior party leaders and other ranks and files of parent body executives, who deliberated at length, the core party issues.
After thorough deliberations, the house unanimously adopted the following resolutions; the meeting placed on record its appreciation and compliments to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Dr. Neiphiu Rio, under whose leadership, the PDA government has successfully entered its third year of effective governance and dedicated public service. The house also conveyed its best wishes for his continued good health and prosperous future.
The house congratulated the MLA and Advisor Zhaleo Rio, for the successful conduct of the Urban Local Body Elections 2024, which marked a historic milestone with the implementation of 33 percent reservation for women candidates in Nagaland.
The house further lauded Zhaleo Rio for his exemplary leadership in the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department for bringing about much needed reforms and development in Urban and Municipal areas which had faced setbacks for many years. The house also unanimously reaffirmed its unwavering support and loyalty and commitment to the NPF party and its leadership under Zhaleo Rio, while pledging to work collectively for the growth and strengthening of the party at all levels right from the grass root levels.
The meeting concluded with a minute of silence observed in honour of the dearly departed party workers and leaders, followed by a mass prayer.
