NPF Kiphire slams government on GiA issue

NPF Kiphire Division has alleged of an imbalance in the implementation of Grant-in-Aid (GiA) of Rs. 96 crores, meant for all 74 RD Blocks of the state.

The division’s president, Justin Khatomong T, in a press release extended support to the leader of opposition, T. R. Zeliang for his concern on the non release of GiA on time.
NPF Kiphire alleged that the NDPP led government, was trying to cover up for “some mouthpiece of their eminent so called spokesperson” at the cost of the innocent rural population. It questioned the “inability to release the GIA in time” and called it a “share(d) perception theory to swindler the rural populous due share when the finance department had release the GIA in the month of March 2018 after the PDA took over the Govt.”
NPF Kiphire further claimed that the NDPP slogan ‘Change is Coming’ was still “aloof” even for the rural populace because they were being kept from their share at the government’s “whims and fancies.”
