A consultative leaders meeting of NPF Kohima division held at Kohima on Friday congratulated Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu for being re-elected as party president for 2020-24 and resolved to uphold his leadership as president and TR Zeliang as leader of NPF Legislature Party Wing.
The meeting also appreciated Government of India (GoI) and Naga national groups for their tireless effort in taking positive steps towards resolution of Naga political problem and appealed to New Delhi and all national workers to expedite the ongoing talks and bring it to a logical and amicable conclusion.
Further, the division also appealed to all other Naga national groups who have not joined the peace process to reconsider their decision as desired by the Naga People.
While fully supporting the resolution adopted by party’s Central Executive Council on Friday opposing CAA, NPF Kohima division reiterated its fullest support and loyalty towards the party and declared to proactively work as a watchdog in the interest and welfare of the people.
The resolution committee comprised Atou Liezietsu as convener and Z Neikuo Lhousa, Kikovi Kirha and Neizokhotuo Belho as members.
