NPF Life Membership Cell has extended full support to the incumbent chief minister, TR Zeliang, and decided to stand by its NPF President, Dr. Shurhozielie Liezetsu while it also appealed to all party men to prayerfully stand and sincerely work towards warding off the evil design that is doing the round by the dissident group to puzzle the masses for their own narrow, selfish gains.
Chairman of NPF Life Membership Cell Pinyimthung Lotha has urged all party men, women and functionaries in different levels of the party organization to steadfastly adhere to the principle and ideology of the party, keeping in mind that – man of caliber and character, even under stress, remain calm and undisturbed and work for the unity of the party and stand firm with the party’s ideology.
He reminded that Naga People’s Front, a regional political party that came into being more than half a century since, is no ordinary political party, but the proud heirs of the decades old grand party founded by visionary leaders who sacrificed and succeeded in establishing it on firm grounds.
He said successive venerable leaders through dark and bitter moments struggled, toiling selflessly against all odds whose actions merit emulation.
He said NPF carries tearful as well as blissful periods on record as well as in the people’s memory that needs to be practiced, enjoyed, preserved and passed on to posterity.
He has, therefore, called upon all party men, women and functionaries in different levels of the party organization to steadfastly adhere to the principle and ideology of the party.
He said undermining the sacrifices rendered by the venerable leaders of the party arising in the present drama which is the creation of some ‘unscrupulous’ leaders of the NPF party was saddening.
