NPF Minority Wing pledges unity, growth at grassroots

DIMAPUR: Central Minority Wing of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Wednesday organised a Coordination cum Orientation Programme at the NPF Dimapur Division Conference Hall, bringing together Minority Wing leaders and office bearers from Dimapur I, Dimapur II, Dimapur III, Ghaspani I, Ghaspani II, Dimapur division, Chümoukedima division and the NPF Central Office.
The programme served as a platform for interaction and organisational strengthening, where AC and division presidents shared grievances, suggestions and proposals to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Participants unanimously stressed the need for greater coordination, discipline and unity to consolidate the Minority Wing across the state.
Addressing the gathering, Vihoshe Awomi, president, NPF Dimapur Division, assured full support towards strengthening the Minority Wing in Dimapur district. N. R. Zeliang, vice president, NPF Central and in charge of the Central Minority Wing, delivered an address on party discipline and organisational guidelines, appreciating the efforts of the Minority Wing under the leadership of Bishnu Bhattacharjee, president, Central Minority Wing.
Neitho Khusoh, vice president, NPF Central Youth Wing, encouraged members to remain united and committed, while Mahesh Agarwal, COB and DMC member, assured his support and urged members to move forward under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
In his presidential address, Bishnu Bhattacharjee highlighted the contribution of Minority voters and workers in strengthening the NPF, reaffirming the Wing’s support to the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, NPF president and secretary general Achumbemo Kikon.
The programme was chaired by Mahendra Thousen, with invocation by Keshok Momin, vote of thanks by Apun Naben, and benediction by Anand Gurung.
