Naga People’s Front (NPF) has expressed grief over the demise of general secretary (CoB) and former president of Mon division, Yanlong Konyak, who passed away on Wednesday at Mon.
In a condolence message, NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu said that late Yanlong was considered to be the backbone of Mon division and was a committed and dedicated leader who gave best of services to the party under various capacities.
“The loss through his demise is irreparable and the party will be difficult to fill the vacuum he had created” NPF president said.
NPF said it would always remember his humble personality, concern and contribution to the party.
Further, it conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty would grant solace and comfort to the loved ones at this hour of grief and sorrow.
