A press release issued by NPF Northern Angami-II A/C acting president, Zeneivi Chase and general secretary, Vilasalie Angami informed that the house deliberated with regard to withdrawal of party candidature and termed it as a very unfortunate matter that the candidate Chüpfüo Angami has withdrawn his nomination at the eleventh hour on ground of his critical health conditions without the approval of the A/C office bearers due to time factor which is a fact, the house wished him quick recovery to its candidate.
The house resolved that it will not bear the responsibilities of the said incidence, in confirmation with the decision taken on February 13.
However, the house also resolved to continue its support to NPF party whole heartedly and extend its services in whatever activities of the party requires. NPF Northern Angami-II A/C further expressed regret over the unfortunate incidence.
