Naga People’s Front (NPF) will be organising an orientation programme for its party leaders and legislators on February 23 at the party’s Central Office.
Held under the theme “Insights on Government Departmental Activities and Constructive Role of Party Leaders”, the programme aims to enhance understanding of government functions and strengthen the role of party leaders in supporting developmental initiatives.
The orientation will feature two sessions. The first session will include presentations by Hekani Jakhalu Kense, advisor, Industries and Commerce; Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, advisor, NRE and NSDMA; Wangpang Konyak, advisor, Social Welfare; Tongpang Ozukum, advisor, Water Resources; and Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, advisor, School Education and SCERT.
The second session will feature G. Kaito Aye, minister, Roads and Bridges; K.G. Kenye, minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs; and C.L. John, minister for Forest and Environment.
The introductory note will be delivered by Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and secretary general of NPF.
The programme will be moderated by Merentoshi R. Jamir, vice president, while proceedings will be recorded by Atou Liezietsu, press secretary.
