Imlibenla Wati, the NPF youth ambassador and former beauty queen, continues her journey of beauty with a purpose by visiting Mokokchung district jail on Dec 21.
While speaking with the inmates she told them that the reason she chose to visit them was to remind them of how special they were no matter what. She also said that they should take this time as a great opportunity to build their relationship with God who loved everyone irrespective of who they were or what they may have done. She said that the world might look down on them but God would choose to use them and their story for His glory, just as God has used many people in the past who have encountered God during their time in prison.
Wati has been visiting the district jail annually since she was crowned Miss Mokokchung in 2012 and sponsored the feast and donated blankets for the inmates on that day. Imlibenla was accompanied by the A/C NPF youth wing, along with her friends.
