DIMAPUR: Naga People’s Front (NPF) Youth Wing, Phek Division organised a statewide medical camp and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) awareness and registration drive at Enhulumi Village in Phek district on August 9, 2026.
According to the party, the programme was initiated under the NPF Central Youth Wing and featured a free medical camp, awareness session on CMHIS, and on the spot registration for eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking at the launch, NPF Central Youth Wing working president Supoyi Vezhu underscored the importance of public healthcare and urged villagers to avail themselves of CMHIS benefits. He also reaffirmed the Youth Wing’s support and confidence in the leadership of NPF president and chief minister, Neiphiu Rio.
Around 200 people availed medical services and CMHIS related assistance during the camp.
Meanwhile, Phek Division Youth Wing expressed gratitude to minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs K.G. Kenye, advisor Kudecho Khamo, advisor Kuzholuzo Nienu, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) chairman Nuzota Swuro, and former minister Neiba Kronu for their support and contributions.
It also acknowledged the assistance of Department of Health and Family Welfare staff during the programme.
Further, the Division Youth Wing appreciated the NPF Central Youth Wing for initiating the outreach to connect with grassroots communities through the medical camp.
