NPGN/NNC mourns demise of Dr. Hokishe

DIMAPUR

National People’s Government of Nagaland (NPGN) and Naga National Council (NNC) have expressed deep sorrow on the demise of Dr. Hokishe Yepthomi, former president of Sumi Hoho and former chairman of the Sumi Literature Board (SLB).
In a condolence message issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), NPGN/NNC acknowledged Dr. Yepthomi’s tireless contributions to the Sumi and Naga communities, describing him as a principled leader, visionary guide, and selfless servant whose legacy will be long remembered. The group noted his unwavering dedication to the Naga cause and commitment to social welfare, which left an indelible mark on society. NPGN/NNC extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
