All rank and file of the NPGN/NNC has expressed deep sorrow and pain over the sudden demise of their leader president NPGN/NNC (N/A) late Temjenyanger Aier on December 23.
In a condolence message, MIP kilonser NPGN/NNC (N/A) N.Mar Ao said his sudden death had caused great setback in the Government set up as well as in the service of Naga nation for self determination.
MIP informed that late Temjenyanger Aier joined the Naga national movement in 1963. Thereafter he took a short break to pursue higher education. After graduation he did not give up his passion for the common cause of Nagas and served the nation in various categories as the most experienced and veteran national worker, MIP added.
According to MIP, late Temjenyanger Aier was elected as the president of NPGN/NNC (N/A) and shouldered the responsibility till his last breath.
“He was a man of prayer and a great evangelist as well as most committed and visionary patriot who had sacrificed his entire life for the Nagas,” the message read.
NPGN/NNC (N/A) in its message described late Temjenyanger Aier as a “humble, faithful, and honest leader.”
“Although he is no more among our midst we will continue to follow the great legacy he has left behind,” MIP stated.
Further, NPGN/NNC (N/A) conveyed its condolences and prayer for solace and comfort to the bereaved family of the departed leader during their hour of grief.
CAO Ao Region: Imkong Pongen, CAO Ao region NPGN/NNC (N/A) has also expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of late Temjenyanger Aier saying his death had caused a great vacuum in the service of Nagas.
“He was a God fearing father who always acknowledge God in the first place and always trust on God for the divine deliverance from the illegal aggressors,” CAO stated in a condolence message.
With his demise the Aos in particular and Nagas in general had lost the most senior and father of Naga nation who had immense knowledge of Naga political history and vision for the future of Nagas, CAO added. CAO further extended its prayer to the bereaved family.
