Naga Peoples Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) has said that its secretary general Neingulo Krome was offloaded by the immigration authorities at Kolkata Airport (en route to Bangkok) on February 5, without any clear reason. NPMHR said he was only told that the government put a ban on his foreign travel. It said such dehumanising and intimidating act reflected of a government that thrived on “threats to take away our movement and voice.” NPMHR condemned Centre for such unlawful act and demanded to stop these persecutions.
