NPP Kohima district office inaugurated

DIMAPUR

The Kohima district office of the National People’s Party (NPP) was formally inaugurated on September 5 at Jail Colony, Kohima, by NPP Nagaland state working president and MLA of 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency, Dr. Tsielhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Dr. Ato expressed hope that the new office would serve as a centre of unity, happiness, and progress. He thanked party leaders and workers for their continued support throughout his political journey and assured to give his best towards strengthening the party.
On the current political developments in the state, Dr. Ato urged party members to remain patient and resilient. He also informed that the NPP, under the leadership of National President Conrad K. Sangma, is a constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.
NPP Kohima district president Dr. Keviseto Kintso, in his address, called upon party leaders and workers to reaffirm their commitment to the party’s principles and ideology. He emphasized the need to promote unity and peace, stating that upholding party values was essential to achieving shared goals.
The programme was chaired by Neituo Metha, general secretary (IPR & Protocol), while the vote of thanks was proposed by Ako Zhasa, general secretary (Administration).
