Nagaland Public Rights Awareness and Action Forum (NPRAAF) comprising of social activists, lawyers and scholars was formally launched on February 27 at Dimapur. The forum has been formed with the objective of providing a stable platform for the “deprived and suppressed sections” of the society.
In a press release NPRAAF said the forum would provide a platform for any individual or group whose due rights are denied in any public, private or government establishment. The forum would also endeavour to create awareness on public rights, benefits and responsibilities stated the release.
NPRAAF headquarters will be based in Dimapur from where its wings would be spread across the state. NPRAAF has been composed of seven office bearers headed by Wedieu Kronu as president and Hito Swu as secretary.
