DIMAPUR: The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, for successfully integrating DigiLocker with its recruitment portal.
The recognition was conferred by the National e-Governance Division in acknowledgment of NPSC’s successful implementation of the DigiLocker Issuer and Requester Models, making Nagaland the first state in Eastern India and the third state in the country to achieve complete dual-model DigiLocker integration for its recruitment system.
According to the certificate, the achievement advances paperless governance and strengthens the country’s Digital Public Infrastructure by enabling seamless digital verification and access to recruitment-related documents through DigiLocker.
The certificate was signed by Nand Kumarum, president and CEO of the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The integration is expected to simplify document verification for job applicants, reduce paperwork, enhance transparency, and improve the efficiency of the recruitment process through secure digital authentication.
