Nagaland Part Time Instructors SSA 2015 has appealed to the State government and concerned Department for the release of eleven months pending salary.
In a press note, NPTI SSA president Longseng Phom stated that their sacrifices and efforts that was contributed to the student community/welfare by discharging duties without pay, for almost a year, have to be noticed by the concerned department.
The union has appealed the government to redress the grievances faced by the teachers as teachers fraternity solely depend on salary itself for livelihood.
With classes started for the academic year 2017, the union has requested the responsible Department for early payment of salary. Further, the union hoped that the concerned department would not demoralise the sentiments of the unpaid teachers which were far beyond endurance.
