NRDA holds meeting; elects new team

Nagaland Retired Doctors Association (NRDA) held its first meeting on September 30 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. The meeting was attended by about 40 retired doctors including 92 year old Dr. LM Murry, who is the senior most medical doctor in the state, Dr Sukhato Sema MLA, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhetso MLA, Dr Nicky Kire and others. The meeting was chaired by Dr Vikato Kinimi, general secretary of NRDA.


At the meeting, the house elected the following new executive members- Dr Neiphi Kire as president, Dr Vikato Kinimi as general secretary and Dr. Lima Akum Jamir as finance secretary. During the discussion hour, the members encouraged each other to continue rendering humanitarian service to the society “as a Doctor never retires”.
